I love the textures in close up shots, especially with a shallow DOF. This one here is, I think, a plant called lambs ear. I may be wrong, probably am. I think I'll be posting a few more close ups like this in the next few days so keep an eye out.

Old Tree
Had a great time at the botanics taking some family portraits. During a walk later took a few shots of this seemingly dead tree. once side is dead the other blooming to life.
yes I really need to think of better titles.
Baby
I procured an old 8mm projector lens which I promptly fastened to the end of my camera and made a sort of makeshift macro lens.

Storms Coming
A Great shot taken from a moving car while driving home.
It was getting pretty dark so slow shutter gave it a bit of shake. Still a great shot though.

Flowers arent my favourate subject however I do tend to take a lot of pictures of them hoping to catch a really great shot. This one I think fits the profile.

Pastel Girl
Still not good at what to type in here. Maybe a little on the image....lets see; Taken about 3 years ago. Lighting was fantastic as it was flooding in through the colourful curtains giving a great warm ambient light.

Home
Most HDR images are made with 3-5 exposure bracketed shots. This one was made up of 9.
I'm using a Nikon D60, which doesnt have autobraketing so i connected it to my laptop and used camera control pro 2. great fun.
